After reaching 1 million subscribers last week, DITO announced another surprise to track down and reward its 1 millionth subscriber with a free 1-year subscription to DITO data services along with other exciting items. That lucky DITO subscriber turned out to be Roger Narito, a 32-year old car accessories employee from Calamba, Laguna.

Aside from the monthly 100GB of high-speed data for one year, Narito was also given an exclusive DITO mobile vanity number to commemorate him as the company’s 1 millionth subscriber. This reward for Roger came at the heels of the FREE 1 million GB of data which DITO initially distributed to all its first 1 million subscribers last week, to again show the company's appreciation for the overwhelming support of the Filipino people.

In a virtual ceremony held last June 25, Narito was congratulated by DITO Chief Administrative Officer Atty. Adel Tamano and Chief Technology Officer Rodolfo Santiago. Narito expressed his surprise and gratitude, “Hindi ko inakala ako pala yung pang-1 million subscriber ng DITO. Nagulat ako nung tumawag sila para ipaalam, pero ganon pa man nagpapasalamat ako sa DITO. Tuloy tuloy ko na magagamit yung internet service nila na talagang malakas sa area namin. Actually, nirecommend ko na din ang DITO sa mga kaibigan at kapamilya ko.”

Atty. Adel Tamano also shared his appreciation for Roger and all of DITO’s subscribers, “We are very grateful to celebrate this milestone with our subscribers. It is also a happy coincidence that Roger’s last name, Narito, has the same meaning as our brand’s name.”
