PROMO MECHANICS

  1. Overview
    DITO Rewards is a loyalty program of DITO Telecommunity that grants rewards, discounts, and privileges to its subscribers in accordance with their value, tenure, and membership. (“Program”).

    Active subscribers of DITO Telecommunity are entitled to receive reward points and all of the benefits and privileges pursuant to this program. 

    DITO reserves the right to deny, suspend, or terminate membership in the program for [i] unauthorized, improper, or illegal use of the discounts and privileges under the program; [ii] unauthorized, improper, or illegal use of the products and services covered by the program (“Products”); and [iii] breach by a subscriber of his/her obligations in connection with the use or availment of the Products, at any given time without notice and without incurring any liability to the subscribers.

    The subscribers agree to be bound by these mechanics. DITO reserves the right to modify or terminate the program, or the subscriber’s membership to the Program for any reason without notice, at any time without any liability to the subscribers. DITO reserves the right in its sole discretion, to change these mechanics from time to time, which DITO may post in the mobile app and portal. The subscriber’s availment of the program after the effective date of the updated mechanics will constitute the subscribers’ agreement to the updated mechanics.
  2. Program Membership

    All DITO subscribers are automatically enrolled in the program upon activation of their DITO SIM card or any DITO service. No registration or application is required.

    Upon activation of any DITO service, subscribers will receive a text message welcoming them to the program. The subscriber’s mobile number will serve as his/her unique membership ID.

    In cases of SIM replacement via the DITO Experience Stores, points earned may be carried over to the new SIM as long as the mobile number is retained.

    Subscribers can perform the following transactions with DITO Rewards:
    1. Query of points balance.
    2. Check of points history such as earning and usage.
    3. View the rewards catalog and redeemable items using the DITO App.
    4. Use of points-as-cash to purchase rewards offers and
    5. Gifting points to another DITO subscriber.
  3. Earning of Points for DITO Home 5G Postpaid
    Active DITO subscribers can earn points in different methods across the customer journey. Points crediting will be done in real-time. The following earning point methods are available on May 31 to November 30, 2024.

    3. 1 Points Earning
      1. Earn 3% DITO Rewards Points from paid bill (monthly subscription fee or MSF), if transaction has been made via the DITO APP.
      2. Earn 1% DITO Rewards Points from paid bill (monthly subscription fee or MSF), if transaction has been made via other channels such as but not limited to: DITO Experience Store, retail partner,   Lazada,    Shopee, and other digital partners.

        * The points earning rules mentioned above is the minimum points calculation that a subscriber will be able to earn. DITO reserves the right to increase the points earning rules in cases such as but not 
        limited to business and campaign strategies, tactical, seasonal, and targeted offers.

    3. 2 Earn Points by Updating Rewards Profile
    Subscribers can also earn 5 points when they update their Rewards Profile for the first time. Updating of Rewards Profile is optional. Subscribers need toinput the following in Rewards Profile:
      1. Birth Year
      2. Gender
      3. Marital Status
      4. Occupation
      5. Hobbies and Interests
  4. Information on Points Balance
    Subscribers can monitor their points history, such as earning, usage, and expiration details on the following channels:

  5. Spending of Points
    A DITO Rewards Point is equivalent to P1.00. Subscribers can use their points on the following method:
    • Redeem items from the Rewards Catalog, and
    • Peer-to-peer transfer.
    • DITO reserves the right to deny the granting of rewards to subscribers in cases such as but not limited to: sending invalid OTP, sending the wrong information, choosing a product that is not part of the rewards
      list, unregistered mobile number, disqualified mobile number, and if with insufficient points balance.
    • The deduction of points should be real-time after a successful
      redemption.
    • DITO Rewards Points can be used to pay monthly subscription fee
      (MSF)

    5. 1 Redeem items on Rewards Catalog
    Subscribers can use points to redeem items available in the Rewards Catalog.
    They can redeem rewards at any time as long as subscriber’s points meet the minimum requirement for the chosen reward. Subscribers can redeem rewards via the DITO App. Follow this step to redeem a reward:
    1. Download the app via Google Play, App Store and Huawei AppGallery.
    2. Log in to the DITO App using DITO mobile number and password.
    3. On the homepage, tap “Rewards” to open the DITO Rewards Catalog.
    4. Scroll through the available rewards in the catalog.
    5. Choose reward and tap “Redeem”.
    6. Input One-Time PIN sent to your DITO mobile number.
    7. A text and app notification will be sent to confirm successful redemption.

    5. 2 Non-telco Rewards
    Subscribers can now use their DITO Rewards Points to redeem non-telco rewards (Sharetreats vouchers: Essentials, Food, Gaming, Shopping, Digital Vouchers; MSMEs vouchers: Experience Based and Local Favorites 
    Rewards) available in the Rewards Catalogue via the DITO App.

    They can redeem rewards from different categories such as Essentials, Food, Gaming, Shopping, Digital Vouchers, Health & Beauty, Experience Based, Local Favorites, Promo Vouchers and more!

    Subscribers can redeem non-telco rewards following these:
     
    Login via the DITO App and tap "Rewards" on the homepage to open the DITO Rewards catalogue.
    Choose from the categories available. Choose from the available items in the chosen category. Product description and list of participating stores can be viewed. Click "Redeem for XX Points" button to proceed.
    An OTP will be sent to the subscriber’s mobile number for validation.
    Subscriber will receive an SMS and email with the voucher details.
    Subscriber proceeds to the store (physical/online) and uses code to redeem.
    Vouchers are valid for minimum of sixty (60) days and up from the date of the successful redemption, unless stated otherwise.
    Vouchers can be shared with family and friends. However, vouchers can only be used once.


    5.3 How to Redeem
    1. Redemptions made using DITO Rewards Points will not earn DITO Rewards
    Points.
    2. The deduction of points should be real-time after a successful redemption.
    3. Postpaid subscribers can only redeem non-telco vouchers.

    5.4 Peer-to-Peer Transfer or Gifting of Points
    Subscribers can share points with another DITO subscriber. They can share a minimum of 1 point to any valid and active DITO subscriber. Note the following sharing business rules:

     
    1. Subscribers can share a minimum of 1 point and no maximum limit.
    2. Sharing of non-integer point is not allowed.
    3. No transaction fee per share will be charge to the sender.
    4. No limit on the number of sharing transaction.
    5. Sender can only transfer a point to an active DITO subscriber.
    6. Points with shorter validity will be shared first when a subscriber share a point.
    7. Points expiration date shall follow the original expiration date.
    Subscribers can share DITO points to another DITO subscriber/s via DITO App only.
    Follow this step to share DITO points:
     
    1. Download the app via Google Play, App Store and Huawei AppGallery.
    2. Log in to the DITO App using DITO mobile number and password.
    3. On the homepage, tap “Rewards”. Scroll down to see DITO Share points and tap “Share points now”
    4. Input the receiver’s DITO mobile number and points you would like to share.
    5. A text and app notification will be sent to confirm successful sharing transaction.
     
     

Expiration of Points
All earned points are valid for 12 months upon credit. Points with shorter validity will be consumed first when a subscriber redeems a reward or shares a point. Points will expire on the last day of the month.
Example:

  1. Earn the points on November 1, 2021 → Expires November 30, 2022.
  2. Earn the points November 16, 2021 → Expires November 30, 2022.

Subscribers can monitor the points expiration details via the DITO App on the Rewards Page Points History. They need to be logged in to view their points expiration details. Subscribers will also receive a notification through SMS and app notification for the expiring points.
 
Program Coverage and Validity
1. This program and the Redeem Items on the Rewards Catalog will be available NATIONWIDE (Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao).
2. The program will be enjoyed by DITO Home 5G Postpaid subscribers at any time.
3. Non-telco Rewards (5.2) under Redeem Items on Rewards Catalog is valid for the period, May 31 to November 30, 2024.

    All DITO subscribers are automatically enrolled in the program upon activation of their DITO SIM card or any DITO service. No registration or application is required.

    Upon activation of any DITO service, subscribers will receive a text message welcoming them to the program. The subscriber’s mobile number will serve as his/her unique membership ID.

3.1 Earn Points for DITO Home Prepaid

  1. Active subscribers shall earn points when they buy load (via debit/credit, 3rd payment channels.  

  2. Earn 1% DITO Rewards Points when they buy load via other channel/s such as but not limited to: DITO Experience Store,Lazada, Shopee,digital partners.

Subscribers can redeem these Data Offers following these business rules:

  1. Open Data Access and DITO 5G Prepaid Home WiFi (DITO Home Prepaid) data are valid for 30 days upon redemption.

  2. Subscriber can redeem multiple reward data offers. The validity of the same data offer will extend following the longest expiration.

  3. No minimum load or promo subscription required before consumption of redeemed data.

  4. If the subscriber is subscribed to a regular promo, data with shorter validity will be consumed first.

  5. Subscriber cannot redeem this reward if currently subscribe to an UNLI DATA subscription.

  6. Rewards data is not shareable to other DITO subscribers. 

  7. Subscriber may check the breakdown of the data allowances via the DITO App.

Subscribers can redeem app access data following these business rules:

  2. Split payment is not allowed when choosing to redeem using DITO Rewards Points. 

Ex. Using regular load balance and DITO Rewards Points as payment method at the same time.

 

  1. To redeem load using DITO Rewards Points:

  • Log in via the DITO App.

  • Tap “Buy Load” on the homepage.

  • Input your DITO mobile number and choose your desired load denomination.

  • Tap “Buy Load.” 

  • Choose “Pay with DITO Points” as the payment method.

  • An SMS and in-app notification will be sent for every successful transaction.

  1. To redeem a promo using DITO Rewards Points:

  • Log in via the DITO App.

  • Tap “Buy/Manage Promo” on the homepage.

  • Choose your desired promo and tap “Buy Promo” to proceed.

  • Choose “Pay with DITO Points” as the payment method.

  • An SMS and in-app notification will be sent for every successful transaction.

 

  1. To redeem OTT app subscription products using DITO Rewards Points:

  • Log in via the DITO App.

  • Tap “Rewards” on the homepage.

  • Choose “Use DITO Points for movies, series and games”.

  • Encode mobile number and email address to subscribe.

  • Choose “Pay with DITO Points” as the payment method.

  • Get an OTP and input the one-time PIN to proceed.

  • An SMS and in-app notification will be sent for every successful transaction.

 

  1. Redemptions made using DITO Rewards Points will not earn DITO Rewards Points.

  2. The following cannot be redeemed using DITO Rewards Points:

  • Auto Pay Products

  1.   The deduction of points should be real-time after a successful redemption.

5.2 Non-telco Rewards 

Subscribers can now use their DITO Rewards Points to redeem non-telco rewards (Sharetreats vouchers: Essentials, Food, Gaming, Shopping, Digital Vouchers; MSMEs vouchersExperience Based and Local Favorites Rewards) available in the Rewards Catalogue via the DITO App. 

They can redeem rewards from different categories such as Essentials, Food, Gaming, Shopping, Digital Vouchers, Experience Based, Local Favorites, and more!

Subscribers can redeem non-telco rewards following these:

  • Login via the DITO App and tap "Rewards" on the homepage to open the DITO Rewards catalogue.

  • Choose from the categories available. Choose from the available items in the chosen category. Product description and list of participating stores can be viewed. Click "Redeem for XX Points" button to proceed.

  • An OTP will be sent to the subscriber’s mobile number for validation.

  • Subscriber will receive an SMS and email with the voucher details.

  • Subscriber proceeds to the store (physical/online) and uses code to redeem.

  • Vouchers are valid for minimum of sixty (60) days and up from the date of the successful redemption, unless stated otherwise.

  • Vouchers can be shared with family and friends. However, vouchers can only be used once.

5.3 How to Redeem

  1. Redemptions made using DITO Rewards Points will not earn DITO Rewards Points.

  2. The deduction of points should be real-time after a successful redemption.

  3. Postpaid subscribers can only redeem non-telco vouchers.

5.4 Peer-to-Peer Transfer or Gifting of Points

Subscribers can share points with another DITO subscriber. They can share a minimum of 1 point to any valid and active DITO subscriber. Note the following sharing business rules:

  1. Subscribers can share a minimum of 1 point and no maximum limit.

  2. Sharing of non-integer point is not allowed.

  3. No transaction fee per share will be charge to the sender.

  4. No limit on the number of sharing transaction.

  5. Sender can only transfer a point to an active DITO subscriber.

  6. Points with shorter validity will be shared first when a subscriber share a point.

  7. Points expiration date shall follow the original expiration date.

Subscribers can share DITO points to another DITO subscriber/s via DITO App only. Follow this step to share DITO points:

  1. Download the app via Google Play, App Store and Huawei AppGallery.

  2. Log in to the DITO App using DITO mobile number and password.

  3. On the homepage, tap “Rewards”. Scroll down to see DITO Share points and tap “Share points now”

  4. Input the receiver’s DITO mobile number and points you would like to share.

  5. A text and app notification will be sent to confirm successful sharing transaction.

Expiration of Points

All earned points are valid for 12 months upon credit. Points with shorter validity will be consumed first when a subscriber redeems a reward or shares a point. Points will expire on the last day of the month.

Example:

  1. Earn the points on November 1, 2021 → Expires November 30, 2022.

  2. Earn the points November 16, 2021 → Expires November 30, 2022.

Subscribers can monitor the points expiration details via the DITO App on the Rewards Page Points History. They need to be logged in to view their points expiration details. Subscribers will also receive a notification through SMS and app notification for the expiring points.

Program Coverage and Validity

  1. This program and the Redeem Items on the Rewards Catalog will be available NATIONWIDE (Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao).

  2. The program will be enjoyed by DITO Mobile Postpaid subscribers at any time.

  3. Non-telco Rewards (5.2) under Redeem Items on Rewards Catalog is valid for the period, May 31 to November 30, 2024.

PROMO MECHANICS

  1. Overview

    DITO Rewards is a loyalty program of DITO Telecommunity that grants rewards, discounts, and privileges to its subscribers in accordance with their value, tenure, and membership. (“Program”)

    Active subscribers of DITO Telecommunity are entitled to receive reward points and all of the benefits and privileges pursuant to this program.

    DITO reserves the right to deny, suspend, or terminate membership in the program for [i] unauthorized, improper, or illegal use of the discounts and privileges under the program; [ii] unauthorized, improper, or illegal use of the products and services covered by the program (“Products”); and [iii] breach by a subscriber of his/her obligations in connection with the use or availment of the Products, at any given time without notice and without incurring any liability to the subscribers.

    The subscribers agree to be bound by these mechanics. DITO reserves the right to modify or terminate the program, or the subscriber’s membership to the Program for any reason without notice, at any time without any liability to the subscribers. DITO reserves the right in its sole discretion, to change these mechanics from time-to-time, which DITO may post in the mobile app and portal. The subscriber’s availment of the program after the effective date of the updated mechanics will constitute the subscribers’ agreement to the updated mechanics.


  1. Program Membership

    All DITO subscribers are automatically enrolled in the program upon activation of their DITO SIM card or any DITO service. No registration or application is required.

    Upon activation of any DITO service, subscribers will receive a text message welcoming them to the program. The subscriber’s mobile number will serve as his/her unique membership ID.

    In cases of SIM replacement via the DITO Experience Stores, points earned may be carried over to the new SIM as long as the mobile number is retained.

    Subscribers can perform the following transactions with DITO Rewards:

    1. Query of points balance.

    2. Check of points history such as earning and usage.

    3. View the rewards catalog and redeemable items using the DITO App.

    4. Use of points-as-cash to purchase rewards offers and

    5. Gifting points to another DITO subscriber.

  2. Earning of Points

    Active DITO subscribers can earn points in different methods across the customer journey. Points crediting will be done in real-time. The following earning point methods are available on May 31 to November 30, 2024.

3.1 Earn Points by Buying Load and Promo (for DITO Prepaid SIM)

  1. Active subscribers shall earn points when they buy load for their DITO Prepaid SIM

  1. Earn 3% DITO Rewards Points when they buy load via DITO App and MyDITO.

  2. Earn 1% DITO Rewards Points when they buy load via other channels such as but not limited to: DITO Experience Store, retail partner, Lazada, Shopee, and other digital partners.

  1. The points earning rules mentioned above is the minimum points calculation that a subscriber will be able to earn. DITO reserves the right to increase the points earning rules in cases such as but not limited to business and campaign strategies, tactical, seasonal, and targeted offers.

3.2 Earn Points by Updating Rewards Profile
Subscribers can also earn 5 DITO Rewards Points when they update their Rewards Profile for the first time. Updating of Rewards Profile is optional. Subscribers need to input the following in Rewards Profile:

  • Birth Year

  • Gender

  • Marital Status

  • Occupation

  • Hobbies and Interests

    Subscribers can monitor their points history, such as earning, usage, and expiration details on the following channels:

  1. Spending of Points

    A DITO Rewards Point is equivalent to P1.00. Subscribers can use their points on the following method:

  • Redeem items from the Rewards Catalog, 

  • Redeem for load, promo and OTT app subscription products using points and

  • Peer-to-peer transfer.

DITO reserves the right to deny the granting of rewards to subscribers in cases such as but not limited to: sending invalid OTP, sending the wrong information, choosing a product that is not part of the rewards list, unregistered mobile number, disqualified mobile number, and if with insufficient points balance.

The deduction of points should be real-time after a successful redemption.

5.2 Redeem items on Rewards Catalog

Subscribers can use DITO Rewards Points to redeem items available in the Rewards Catalog. They can redeem rewards at any time as long as subscriber’s points meet the minimum requirement for the chosen reward. Subscribers can redeem rewards via the DITO App. Follow this step to redeem a reward:

  1. Download the app via Google Play, App Store and Huawei AppGallery.

  2. Log in to the DITO App using DITO mobile number and password.

  3. On the homepage, tap “Rewards” to open the DITO Rewards Catalog.

  4. Scroll through the available rewards in the catalog.

  5. Choose reward and tap “Redeem”.

  6. Input One-Time PIN sent to your DITO mobile number.

  7. A text and app notification will be sent to confirm successful redemption.

Subscribers can redeem the following Rewards Offers

  • Data Offers - Data access to all sites. “Sites” in this context refers to as ‘an area on the internet,’ meaning a web page.

  5. If the subscriber has no active data subscription, only the chosen app will be accessible aside from calls & texts at standard rates.

  6. If the subscriber is currently subscribed to an unlimited promo, redeemed rewards data will only be consumed after upon expiration of your unlimited promo.

  7. Redeemed rewards data is not shareable to other DITO subscribers.

  8. Subscribers can check the breakdown of their data allowances including redeemed data via the DITO App.

  9. Successful transactions may not be cancelled. There will be no points reversal upon successful redemption.

  2. All DITO mobile prepaid are eligible to use this feature.

  3. Split payment is not allowed when choosing to redeem using DITO Rewards Points. 

Ex. Using regular load balance and DITO Rewards Points as payment method at the same time.

To redeem load using DITO Rewards Points:

  • Log in via the DITO App.

  • Tap “Buy Load” on the homepage.

  • Input your DITO mobile number and choose your desired load denomination.

  • Tap “Buy Load.” 

  • Choose “Pay with DITO Points” as the payment method.

  • An SMS and in-app notification will be sent for every successful transaction.

  1. To redeem a promo using DITO Rewards Points:

  • Log in via the DITO App.

  • Tap “Buy/Manage Promo” on the homepage.

  • Choose your desired promo and tap “Buy Promo” to proceed.

  • Choose “Pay with DITO Points” as the payment method.

  • An SMS and in-app notification will be sent for every successful transaction.

 

  1. To redeem OTT app subscription products using DITO Rewards Points:

  • Log in via the DITO App.

  • Tap “Rewards” on the homepage.

  • Choose “Use DITO Points for movies, series and games”.

  • Encode mobile number and email address to subscribe.

  • Choose “Pay with DITO Points” as the payment method.

  • Get an OTP and input the one-time PIN to proceed.

  • An SMS and in-app notification will be sent for every successful transaction.

 

  1. Redemptions made using DITO Rewards Points will not earn DITO Rewards Points.

  2. The following cannot be redeemed using DITO Rewards Points:
