DITO Telecommunity is offering free calls to support Filipino communities abroad affected by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, ensuring families remain connected during this time of uncertainty. From March 9 to 13, 2026, DITO subscribers roaming in select Middle East countries will receive a one-time allocation of up to five minutes of free incoming calls from DITO numbers in the Philippines. The initiative covers key countries across the region, reinforcing DITO’s commitment to providing reliable connectivity when it matters most.
The initiative reflects DITO’s continued support for efforts to keep Filipino communities abroad connected, informed, and safe during times of crisis. As connectivity becomes increasingly essential, DITO remains focused on enabling meaningful communication—ensuring that distance does not stand in the way of staying connected when it matters most.
“The initiative supports government efforts to ensure Filipinos abroad and their loved ones remain informed during times of crisis.
“We stand with the Philippine government in supporting and protecting our kababayans abroad. DITO remains committed to weaving Filipino communities together wherever they may be through reliable connectivity.”
“The free five-minute call assistance covers Filipinos in Bahrain, Kuwait, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and Lebanon.”
